Mary Jane graduated in 2001 from the College of Saint Rose with a BFA (bachelor of fine arts), her concentration was in photography.  While attending college, Mary Jane won the first place award at the annual college art show.

Since graduating college, she worked for a local studio for about a year, until that studio closed.
In September 2002, Mary Jane opened her own studio at 2563 Western Avenue in Guilderland.  She has been at this original location for over 5 years and loves each and every client she has. Mary Jane welcomes any ideas a client may present in collaboration with her own for those exquisite portraits that remain in family history.
